Daniel Boone disguises himself as a woodpecker as part of his plan to get wood from Slappy Squirrel's tree. After feeding Boone a lunch of bugs, Slappy tells him "Yeah, there's nothing like dead bugs mixed with manure and served on a big piece of rotten bug, eh, Woody?"
