Pecking Order is an episode of The New Woody Woodpecker Show.
Summary[]
Woody sends Knothead and Splinter off to a military school in order to get them to behave better.
Plot[]
It starts with Woody sleeping while Knothead and Splinter are doing a circus while juggling some bowling balls. But Knothead drops the bowling balls when Splinter turns on the water making the balls drop onto Woody, making him wake up in pain. Woody scolds both of them for their behavior and says they need discipline. When he tells them about his great-great-great-uncle Colonel MacPecker, he sends them to military school. Colonel Corns tells them to move it when they are doing an obstacle course but they fell into mud and they hit each other with it and Colonel Corns sees them doing very good. Meanwhile, Woody is relaxing and wondering if he misses the kids and wonder if he was wrong and too hard with them, but he denies it. While watching TV, an announcer tells someone named Little Johnny Boomboom who goes to an explosion room if he acts bad. Woody is surprised and says "I have to get those kids out of there!" Meanwhile, at the military school, Corns puts Knothead and Splinter on lookout duty to keep an eye out for infiltrators. They look to see and say: This is terrific! Meanwhile, Woody is knocking on the door for the kids, so he dresses himself in a battle helmet, tire dirt, & spring shoes. He goes over and tries to get the kids, but they think he's an infiltartor and they use a trash can to roll Woody down so Woody tries stick walkers (from a tree he pecked) to get there again but Knothead and Splinter use termites to eat the wood while the alligator tries to eat Woody. Woody makes it there, but Knothead and Splinter fire a stink bomb to him using worcestershire sauce, stinkweed, & a skunk. Woody coughs and says: "Stink bomb!" Knothead and Splinter use a tank to fire paint balls to Woody and he gets caught in a net while trying to climb on it. Corns says good job to them and check what they have there, Woody asks him where are his kids, Knothead and Splinter noticed it was Woody who catched them, they ask what he is doing here, Woody tells him he comes to take them home (because he made a lie: Saying he needs bowling partners), but Knothead and Splinter say they love it here and they want to stay, & Corns tells Woody he's welcome to stay with them because tomorrow is Relative's Reconnaissance Day, he says Knothead and Splinter are going to hunt and capture him and he says hey when Woody drives away, & he tells Knothead and Splinter to go after them. They go after Woody and the episode ends.
