Papoose on the Loose is a 1961 and the last One-Shot short.

Plot[]

A little papoose, bent on hunting bear, is stopped by his father, the chief, and told to forget the idea. The papoose responds by shooting a rubber-tipped arrow onto the father's nose, and the chief decides to teach his progeny a good lesson. The chief dresses himself in a bear skin and sets out to give the youngster a scare. The papoose doesn't frighten easily, though, and instead of rubber arrows, he starts to shoot real ones at the bogus bear. The chief does his best to explain that he's the papoose's father in a bear suit, but when he tries to remove the costume, the zipper gets stuck, and the hunt begins in earnest. Before the chase is through, the chief is shot with arrows and buckshot, and is stung by a nest of hornets. Finally, the chief manages to escape his costume, and the papoose, finding the bear skin, thinks that he's bagged a big one. The papoose takes his prize home to show to Dad, but the chief's too busy licking his wounds to get excited.
