Four Color was an anthology comic published by Dell Comics featuring a different character/movie, licensed by Western Publishing, each issue. Many of the characters got spun off into their own series, with the numbering picking up approx. after the number of Four Coloring issues. Woody Woodpecker starts it's numbering with issue 16 as there were 17 Woody Four Color issues.
