Flea for Two is a 1955 short.
Plot[]
A city flea steals a country flea's girl at a barn dance on a sleeping dog's butt! He hops on a greyhound (the dog, not the bus) to the big city to win her back. Comedy ensues as a group of fleas decide to hold an engagement ceremony on the obliging dog's back. Watch for the Fleastone Kops!
Notes[]
- Flea for Two was Don Paterson's final effort as director; he would continue to produce the remaining entries until the end of the series in 1972. He does not receive on-screen credit.
- MeTV aired a restored version of the cartoon on 16th September, on Saturday Morning Cartoons.
