In the 1975 George Pal movie, Doc Savage, the last scene features Gracie Lantz with an Andy Panda doll in her hands, with other packages obtained during Christmas shopping. The doll drops and a boy scout helps her retrieve the Andy Panda doll, before helping her cross the street.
George Pal and Walter Lantz were good friends so Pal included Woody Woodpecker in most or all of his movies. Andy Panda was used in Doc Savage because the time setting of the movie was before the creation of Woody Woodpecker.
